What is your most memorable CrossFit moment so far?

My most memorable crossfit moment is the 24 hour wod. With still being relatively new at this point, it was nice to connect with new people and it was a challenge I had never done anything like before.

What is your favourite movement/workout?

My favourite workout is anything to do with snatches, that has to be one of my favourite movements/lifts.

What is your least favourite movement/workout?

My least favourite movement has to be front squats. I am not sure how anyone can do these comfortably.

Name a CrossFit goal you hope to achieve by the end of this year?

My goal for this year is to improve my gymnastics. More specifically, one of my goals is to string together 5 bar muscle ups.

What do you do when you’re not training at Blitz?

Thinking about when I'll next be training at Blitz. But jokes aside, I love spending quality time with family and friends inbetween training. I work as an events planner but outside of work I enjoy creating graphic designs for my new clothing company CRSFT CLTR.

What is your favourite part of being a Blitz member?

My favourite part about being at Blitz is definitely the people. I was nervous about joining Blitz because I was new to crossfit and did not know anyone. This changed very quickly as I felt so welcomed by everyone during my first session and all the sessions after, now I feel really stuck in with the Blitz community. Everyone is so supportive of each other, even on the days you don't feel motivated to train, you end up going because you want to interact with the people in the class.

If you could give a new member one piece of advice what would it be?

Don't be afraid to fail. Try new things even if it is daunting, the more you do something, the better you will get. If you want to get better at something, the only way to get there is to do it over and over until it clicks.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself….

I did competitive athletics for 7 years. I competed in various events such as hurdles, long jump and then moved into heptathlon towards the end. My goal was to go to the Olympics but I think a new dream of mine would be to go to the CrossFit Games.
