Tim Hagon
Founder & CEO
Initially, a PT Tim found CrossFit back in 2008 through a fitness magazine. It described a workout called the Filthy Fifty, gave it a go and got humbled. Then got addicted to improving his skills and studying Crossfit. Tim qualified as a CF coach in 2010 and completed his first CF competition the same year - it was also Sam Briggs's first! If you want to understand more about the history of CF and its methodology, Tim's your man.

Graeme Wightman
Head Coach, L2 and CF Gymnastics Coach
Graeme (or ‘G’) is a proud family man - husband to Roseana and dad to Malachi. When he’s not doing Head Coach things, he loves going to church (with Roseanna), all sports (especially Arsenal and telling British people how great SA are at Rugby) and is a huge coffee enthusiast... but only bring him a coffee (flat white) from Bones!
-
Becca Neale
L2 CrossFit Coach
Previously working as Account Manager for a big corporate, Becca took the leap to a full-time role in fitness 5 years ago when she retrained as a L3 Personal Trainer… and hasn’t looked back since! Before discovering Crossfit she was a fully committed runner, taking part in 4 marathons, too many half marathons, and still favours a cardio-based WOD! Outside of the gym Becca is a dog mum to two mini Australian Shepherds, wife to Tom and owner of wayyy too many pairs of trainers (all RADs)
-
Lawrence Albara
L2 CrossFit Coach
Proud Husband and Dad. Crossfit focus - A big fan of the rest day to ensure longevity in CrossFit and Life! Still plays football on Saturdays even though he says he'll retire every year! Reckons he has the best music choice as voted for by the members!.....fortunately he doesn't take himself too seriously!

Sam Missin
L1 CrossFit Coach
Sam found CrossFit during lockdown whilst watching those awesome documentaries on Netflix. Prior to CrossFit Sam was an international athlete in Touch Rugby. Sam loves competing and pushing himself to his limits when training. Whilst coaching, enjoys seeing members progress on their own CrossFit journey, learning new skills and gaining confidence and fitness for life!
-
Mark Gibbs
L1 CrossFit Coach
Known to most as “Gibbo”, he earned his gym instruction and circuit training qualifications from the YMCA nineteen years ago back when TV was in black and white.
Gibbo was a member at Blitz for ten years before qualifying as a CrossFit coach in January 2025. He likes to lift heavy, sometimes dabbles in fitness, but his greatest love is tidying up the box.
-
Chris Wardlow
L2 CrossFit Coach
Qualified with a masters degree in Exercise physiology whilst doing a National professional qualification for headship in….2010!! Teacher and Deputy Head in secondary schools for25years, decided enough was enough. Caught the CrossFit bug and now coaching, PT’ing and running a kids fitness company called Mint Coaching. Keeps wanting to do less but always end up doing more, including a few comps. Loves the humiliation of being destroyed especially when doing wall balls and/or thrusters. Two oldish kids and only 1 dog thank goodness. Ex rugby player and generally all round sporty person…….. once crashed a bobsleigh!

Trish Mclaren
L2 CrossFit Coach / Front Desk Crew
Trish found CrossFit by accident looking for something to do while waiting for her kids whilst they were trampolining. She hasn’t looked back. Having been an active member of Blitz for 3 1/2 years she decided to dust down and renew some of her numerous qualifications gained …. Well a few years ago … Having Trained as a PE teacher, and worked in gyms and clubs in and around London for the first 6 years of her London life, she has returned to her roots and loves nothing more than helping others achieve more than they think they can. This might be part of the reason she is not only mum to 2 children and 3 dogs but recognised as our in-house CrossFit mum! Nothing is too much trouble; just make sure there’s some banging tunes in the background.
-
Sean Fontana
L2 CrossFit Coach
Sean is a fully certified coffee addict—if he’s not holding a coffee or taking selfies with his fur baby, Simba, he’s probably mid-WOD, dancing through his recovery.
A former professional athlete, Sean represented his country on the track in the 5K and 10K. He also earned a degree in Sports & Exercise Physiology with Nutrition from Colorado University, giving him a deep understanding of performance, training, and recovery.
Oh, and if you buy him a coffee before class, he might spare you from burpee box jumps.

Christina Hagon
Front Desk Crew
Christina discovered CrossFit almost 10 years ago when Blitz first opened and has been addicted ever since. A qualified Soft Tissue Therapist and mother of two teenage boys, it was important for her to stay fit and strong for both work and personal reasons. Having tried different sports over the years from triathlons to running she loved the fact that this is a sport you can build both your strength and cardio fitness, so much so, that she took her CrossFit Level 1. If she is not in class working out then you can usually find her hanging around Front Desk or you can contact her with any queries that you have regarding Blitz.
