How did you first get involved at Blitz?

When we moved from Germany to England in August 2021, I was looking for a new gym. We
moved to Twickenham and one of the nearest results in Google Maps was Blitz CrossFit – so
I gave it a try. To be honest after 4 weeks of training I wanted to quit. I almost couldn’t walk
for an entire week after a workout and the movements were too difficult and just
unreachable in my mind. Then I had a good chat with Tim and he convinced me to stay for 3
months to give it try – and here I am 1 1/2 years later and now I can’t even think about going
to a „normal“ gym anymore.

What is your most memorable CrossFit moment so far?

Probably the Blitz Birthday Event 2021 (unfortunately I couldn’t attend last years) doing the
team workout (Thank you Trish!). Amazing atmosphere!

What is your favourite movement/workout?

I like EMOM’s (do x Every Minute on the Minute) much more than AMRAP’s (As Many Rounds or Reps As Possible) – It’s a mental thing

What is your least favourite movement/workout?

Everything I’m not good at……..which is still a lot.

Name a CrossFit goal you hope to achieve by the end of this year?

My overall goal is to stay healthy and not get injured. Double-Unders will come with time

What do you do when you’re not training at Blitz?

As my time in the UK is limited, I try to see as much of the country as I can.

What is your favourite part of being a Blitz member?

The atmosphere in the gym, the members, the coaches. For me it’s an hour a day when you
can clear your head

If you could give a new member one piece of advice what would it be?

Be patient, listen to your body and stick to it for at least 3 months. Progress will come for
sure!

Tell us a fun fact about yourself….

In 2019 I crossed the Alps from Germany via Austria to Italy in 6 days – much faster than
Hannibal, but I didn’t have elephants with me
