What is your most memorable CrossFit moment so far?
It was back in 2016 when I did my first Foundation class with Tim. I remember he asked me to do 10 sit ups and 15 air squats and I almost fainted on the attempt for the latter! This is when the switch flicked for the first time - 1st gear was engaged and I’ve been coming regularly ever since.
What is your favourite movement/workout?
All the ones I need to work on or I do not have…(yet.)
What is your least favourite movement/workout?
The ones that I have to miss out on doing because of work! Plus anything that involves running.
Name a CrossFit goal you hope to achieve by the end of this year?
I would love to improve my nutrition, and also get my first bar muscle up.
What do you do when you’re not training at Blitz?
Trying to stay on top of bringing up of our two monsters [children]. My remaining free time is then spent on gravel and road cycling, hiding in the garage pretending I am a top mechanic for cars and motorbikes, and general day-dreaming interrupted by reading.
What is your favourite part of being a Blitz member?
Being a Blitz member, full stop. Love you guys, all of you!
If you could give a new member one piece of advice what would it be?
Do not look left or right during a workout! Just dig in and get it done.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself….
I can drive anything and for as long as you can imagine (times three!) I’m addicted to driving and collecting cars. I also love the smell of leaded petrol (yes, I am so old to remember this!)
